October
Fall's second month
October is the tenth month of the year.
In the Northern Hemisphere, it marks mid-autumn—falling leaves, harvest festivals, and Halloween.
We're getting married in October.
The name preserves its Latin origin as the eighth month in the old Roman calendar, before January and February were added.
