Pentium

Classic computer processor

Pentium is a brand name for a line of microprocessors made by Intel, introduced in 1993 and dominant in personal computers through the 1990s and early 2000s.

The name, suggesting a fifth-generation chip, became so synonymous with computing power that "Pentium processor" appeared in advertisements as a selling point for PCs.

My old desktop still has a Pentium chip in it.

Though Intel has since moved to other branding, Pentium remains recognizable as shorthand for that era of computing.
