webcomics
Online cartoon series
Webcomics are comics published online rather than in print.
The format ranges from simple strips to elaborate graphic narratives, often serialized on dedicated websites or social media.
The medium allows creators to bypass traditional publishing: I've been following that webcomic since 2008.
Many successful webcomics have later been collected in print editions.
