webcomic
Internet cartoon series
A webcomic is a comic strip or graphic narrative published online rather than in print.
Webcomics range from simple daily strips to elaborate serialized stories, and the format allows creators to bypass traditional publishing: I've been reading this webcomic for years.
Many webcomic artists build audiences through social media and support themselves via subscriptions or merchandise.
