illustrators
Picture book creators
Illustrators are artists who create images for books, magazines, advertisements, and other media.
The work typically accompanies or enhances text rather than standing alone as fine art.
Children's book illustrators often become as beloved as the authors they work with.
The term covers a range of styles from realistic to cartoon, traditional to digital.
