episodes

TV show units

Episodes are individual installments of a serialized work—distinct segments of a television series, podcast, or other ongoing narrative: I've only watched the first three episodes.

More broadly, an episode is any distinct event or period within a larger experience: a brief episode of unemployment, an episode of chest pain.

The word suggests bounded incidents within a continuing story.
