star chart
Night sky diagram
A star chart is a map of the night sky showing the positions of stars, constellations, and other celestial objects.
Astronomers and amateur stargazers use star charts to identify what they're seeing overhead: She consulted a star chart to find Orion.
In astrology, a star chart—also called a natal chart or birth chart—maps planetary positions at the moment of someone's birth, supposedly revealing personality traits and destiny.
