ocular

Where the iris lives

Ocular means relating to the eye or vision: ocular muscles, ocular nerve, an ocular exam.

In optical instruments, the ocular is the eyepiece—the lens you look through.

As an adjective, ocular often appears in medical and scientific contexts where "eye" would sound too informal: ocular inflammation, ocular prosthesis.
