perimetry
Visual field testing
Perimetry is the measurement of the visual field—the total area visible to the eye when focused on a central point.
Ophthalmologists use perimetry to map blind spots and detect conditions like glaucoma, which gradually narrows peripheral vision: The perimetry results showed early-stage visual field loss.
