Model
Runway fashion worker
A model is a representation of something else—a small-scale replica, a simplified diagram, or an abstract framework: a model airplane, a climate model, a business model.
The word also means an example worth imitating: a model student, a model of efficiency.
A model poses for artists or photographers, or displays clothing professionally.
In commerce, a model is a specific version of a product: the latest model.
To model is to shape, display, or serve as an example: She models for fashion magazines, He modeled his approach on his mentor's.
