mannequin

Dressed display figure

A mannequin is a life-sized model of a human body, typically used to display clothing in stores.

The word can also mean a person who models clothes—though this sense has largely given way to *model*.

Mannequins are usually made of plastic or fiberglass, posed in lifelike positions: The mannequin in the window wore a summer dress.

Figuratively, calling someone a mannequin suggests they're stiff, expressionless, or merely decorative.
