role model
Person worth emulating
A role model is someone whose behavior, example, or success others aspire to imitate.
Parents, teachers, and athletes are commonly cited as role models for children: She's a positive role model for young women.
The term implies admiration and influence—someone worthy of emulation, though role models can also be negative: He's not exactly a role model for ethical behavior.
