Wellington
Kiwi nation's capital
Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand, located at the southern tip of the North Island.
The city and the boot style both take their name from Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington, the British military commander who defeated Napoleon at Waterloo. (Lowercase wellington is a rubber boot or a beef dish.)
