Dover
White cliffs city
Dover names several places, most notably the English port city on the Strait of Dover, the narrowest crossing point of the English Channel.
White chalk cliffs mark its coastline—the famous White Cliffs of Dover.
Dover is also the capital of Delaware.
As a common noun, a dover is Australian slang for a short nap: I'm going to have a quick dover.
