Bismarck

North Dakota's capital

Bismarck is the capital of North Dakota.

The name also refers to Otto von Bismarck, the 19th-century Prussian statesman who unified Germany and served as its first chancellor—the "Iron Chancellor." A bismarck is also a filled doughnut, particularly in the Upper Midwest: I'll take two chocolate bismarcks.
