Scarborough

English seaside resort

Scarborough is a seaside town in North Yorkshire, England, one of Britain's oldest tourist resorts.

The name also belongs to places in Canada, Australia, and elsewhere settled by English emigrants.

The traditional ballad "Scarborough Fair" takes its name from a medieval market held there.

In North America, Scarborough is most familiar as a district of Toronto.
