Whitby

Dracula's English landfall

Whitby is a seaside town on the coast of North Yorkshire, England, known for its historic abbey, fishing harbor, and associations with Bram Stoker's *Dracula*—the novel's vampire comes ashore there.

The town hosts a popular goth festival twice yearly.

We spent a weekend in Whitby exploring the abbey ruins.
