wireless router
Home WiFi source
A wireless router is a networking device that connects to an internet source and broadcasts a Wi-Fi signal, allowing computers, phones, and other devices to access the internet without physical cables.
Most home and office networks rely on a wireless router as their central hub.
The wireless router is in the living room, so the signal is weak upstairs.
The term is often shortened to just "router" in casual use, though technically a router and a wireless access point are distinct components combined in one device.
