WPA3

Wireless encryption standard

WPA3 is the third generation of Wi-Fi Protected Access, a security protocol for wireless networks.

It replaced WPA2 in 2018 with stronger encryption and better protection against password-guessing attacks.

My new router supports WPA3.

Most modern devices now use WPA3 by default, though older hardware may still require WPA2.
