wind instrument
Blown tube instrument
A wind instrument is a musical instrument played by blowing air through it—flutes, clarinets, trumpets, and the like.
Wind instruments divide into woodwinds (where air vibrates through a reed or across an opening) and brass (where the player's lips vibrate against a mouthpiece).
She plays several wind instruments but prefers the oboe.
