baritone horn

Low brass horn

A baritone horn is a brass instrument pitched in B-flat, similar to but distinct from the euphonium.

It has a smaller bore and produces a brighter, more focused tone than its euphonium cousin.

The baritone horn appears primarily in British brass bands and American school bands: He switched from trumpet to baritone horn in middle school.
