bagpipes
Tartan ceremony soundtrack
Bagpipes are a wind instrument in which air from a bag is forced through pipes to produce sound.
The player inflates the bag by blowing into a tube or pumping a bellows, then squeezes it to maintain continuous drone notes while fingering a melody pipe called the chanter.
Most associated with Scottish Highland tradition, bagpipes exist in many cultures: The bagpipes led the funeral procession.
