winding
Full of curves
Winding describes something that twists and turns rather than running straight: a winding road, a winding river, a winding staircase.
As a noun, a winding is a turn or curve, or coiled material—especially wire wrapped around a core in electrical devices: the windings of a motor.
The act of winding something up, as with a clock or thread, also produces windings.
