shoulder press
Deltoid strengthening exercise
A shoulder press is a weightlifting exercise in which you push a weight upward from shoulder height until your arms are fully extended overhead: I do shoulder presses to build my deltoids.
The movement can be performed standing or seated, with dumbbells, a barbell, or a machine.
Also called overhead press or military press.
