rowing machine
Gym water simulator
A rowing machine is exercise equipment that simulates the motion of rowing a boat.
The user sits on a sliding seat, pushes with the legs while pulling a handle toward the chest, engaging most major muscle groups.
Also called an ergometer or erg in competitive rowing circles: I spent thirty minutes on the rowing machine.
