front raise
Arms forward, up
A front raise is a weight training exercise that targets the front deltoid muscles.
Standing with arms extended downward holding dumbbells or a barbell, you raise the weight forward and upward to shoulder height, then lower with control: I do three sets of front raises on shoulder day.
The movement isolates the anterior shoulder.
