leg curl

Prone flexion movement

A leg curl is a weight training exercise that targets the hamstrings by bending the knees against resistance.

Typically performed on a machine while lying face down or seated, you curl your heels toward your buttocks: I added leg curls to strengthen my hamstrings after the injury.
