netizens
Web's regular users
Netizens are citizens of the internet—people who actively participate in online communities, forums, and social media.
The term combines "net" and "citizen," suggesting both membership and responsibility in digital spaces.
It was more common in the early days of widespread internet adoption and now sounds slightly dated: Netizens reacted swiftly to the proposed legislation.
