Baidu

Beijing search engine

Baidu is China's dominant search engine and technology company, often called "the Chinese Google." Founded in 2000, it provides web search, maps, cloud services, and AI development.

The name comes from a classical Chinese poem about searching for something elusive.

Baidu controls most of China's search traffic.
