doxxing
Revealing someone's address
Doxxing is publicly revealing someone's private information online—real name, home address, phone number, workplace—typically with malicious intent.
The term comes from "dropping docs" (documents).
Someone might be doxxed as punishment, harassment, or to enable others to threaten them: She was doxxed after her tweet went viral, and strangers started showing up at her house.
