manometer
Measures gas pressure
A manometer is an instrument for measuring the pressure of gases or liquids.
The simplest type uses a U-shaped tube partially filled with liquid—pressure differences cause the liquid levels to shift, and the difference in height indicates pressure.
More sophisticated versions measure blood pressure, atmospheric pressure, or pressure in industrial systems.
The technician checked the manometer readings before adjusting the valve.
