barograph
Atmospheric pressure logger
A barograph is an instrument that continuously records atmospheric pressure over time, producing a chart showing pressure changes.
It combines a barometer with a recording mechanism, typically a pen tracing on a rotating drum.
Barographs are used in meteorology and were once standard equipment on ships to track approaching weather systems.
