micromanometer
Tiny pressure measurer
A micromanometer is an instrument for measuring very small differences in pressure, typically in gases.
Standard manometers measure pressure by the height of liquid in a tube; micromanometers achieve greater sensitivity through amplification mechanisms or electronic sensors.
They're used in aerodynamics research, HVAC testing, and other applications requiring precision: The micromanometer detected minute pressure changes across the filter.
