Scot
Kilt wearer, perhaps
A Scot is a native or inhabitant of Scotland.
The term is preferred by many Scottish people over "Scotsman" or "Scotchman," which can sound old-fashioned or external.
The Scots have a reputation for thrift.
Scottish is the standard adjective for things relating to Scotland; Scotch now mainly modifies whisky, broth, and tape. (Lowercase scot appears in the phrase scot-free.)
