Irn-Bru

Orange Scottish beverage

Irn-Bru is a bright orange Scottish soft drink with a distinctive flavor difficult to describe—vaguely fruity, slightly medicinal, and very sweet.

It has near-iconic status in Scotland, where it outsells Coca-Cola and is jokingly claimed to cure hangovers: Nothing sorts you out like an Irn-Bru.

The name suggests "iron brew," though the drink contains negligible iron.
