Ben Nevis

Britain's highest point

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles, rising 1,345 meters (4,413 feet) in the Scottish Highlands near Fort William.

Its summit is often shrouded in cloud and holds snow well into summer.

The mountain draws hikers and climbers year-round: We climbed Ben Nevis on our trip to Scotland.
