Pythagoras
Ancient geometry master
Pythagoras was an ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician of the 6th century BCE, known for the theorem bearing his name: in a right triangle, the square of the hypotenuse equals the sum of the squares of the other two sides.
He founded a mystical-mathematical school that saw numbers as the foundation of reality.
Every geometry student learns the Pythagorean theorem.
