proposition
Statement for consideration
A proposition is something put forward for consideration.
In logic, it's a statement that can be true or false.
In business, a proposition is an offer or proposal: What's your proposition?
The value proposition is what makes something worth buying.
To proposition someone is to propose sex, usually bluntly or transactionally: He propositioned her at the bar.
A proposition can also be a ballot measure voters decide directly.
