divine revelation
God speaks truth
Divine revelation is knowledge or truth believed to come directly from God or a deity, rather than through human reason or investigation.
In religious traditions, scriptures are often considered divine revelation: Muslims regard the Quran as divine revelation to Muhammad.
The term also covers personal religious experiences—visions, prophecies, or sudden spiritual insight that the recipient understands as communication from the divine.
