Iberian Peninsula
Spain and Portugal
The Iberian Peninsula is the southwestern landmass of Europe, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and the Pyrenees Mountains, which separate it from France.
It comprises most of Spain and Portugal, along with Andorra, Gibraltar, and a small portion of France.
The peninsula takes its name from the Iberians, ancient peoples who inhabited the region before Roman conquest.
