Bohemia's modern state

The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe, bordered by Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Austria.

Also called Czechia, it emerged in 1993 when Czechoslovakia split into separate Czech and Slovak states.

Prague is its capital.
