Asturias
Spanish Atlantic coast
Asturias is an autonomous region in northwestern Spain along the Bay of Biscay, known for its mountainous terrain, Celtic heritage, and cider culture.
It was the last Iberian territory to resist Moorish conquest and the birthplace of the Christian reconquest of Spain.
We drove through Asturias on our way to Santiago de Compostela.
