Costa del Sol

Andalusian beach region

Costa del Sol is a coastal region in southern Spain along the Mediterranean, stretching through Málaga province.

The name means "Coast of the Sun" in Spanish.

Known for beaches, golf courses, and resort towns like Marbella and Torremolinos, it became a major tourist destination in the mid-20th century: We spent two weeks on the Costa del Sol.
