DVD-RW
Erasable optical disc
DVD-RW is a rewritable DVD format that allows data to be recorded, erased, and rewritten multiple times.
The RW stands for rewritable, distinguishing it from DVD-R discs that can only be written once.
DVD-RWs were commonly used for backup storage and video recording before flash drives and cloud storage largely replaced them.
