finalize

Make it official

Finalize means to complete something by putting it in final form.

You finalize a deal, a contract, a guest list, or travel plans when all details are settled and nothing remains to be decided: We're still finalizing the arrangements.

The word sometimes draws criticism as corporate jargon, but it fills a genuine need—conclude and complete don't quite capture the sense of making something official and unchangeable.
