Adirondacks

New York highlands

The Adirondacks are a mountain range in northeastern New York State, characterized by forested peaks, lakes, and wilderness.

The region is largely protected within Adirondack Park, one of the largest publicly protected areas in the United States.

We rented a cabin in the Adirondacks for the summer.

Also called the Adirondack Mountains.
