relaxation
Unwinding after work
Relaxation is the state of being free from tension, whether physical or mental.
Muscles relax after exertion; people relax after stress.
A hot bath is my favorite form of relaxation.
The word also applies to rules or restrictions that become less strict: a relaxation of border controls.
In physics, relaxation describes a system returning to equilibrium after being disturbed.
