Lake Champlain

Adirondack region waterway

Lake Champlain is a large freshwater lake on the border between New York and Vermont, extending into Quebec.

It served as a strategic waterway in colonial and Revolutionary War history.

The lake stretches about 120 miles and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and tourism: We spent summers on Lake Champlain.
