riders
Those on mounts
Riders is the plural of rider—people who ride horses, bicycles, motorcycles, or transit.
The word extends to additional clauses attached to legislative bills or contracts: The bill passed only after they stripped out the controversial riders.
Insurance riders add coverage beyond standard policies.
A rider may also list a performer's requirements for a venue: The band's rider specified no brown M&Ms.
