Uber
Tap for transport
Uber is a technology company that operates a rideshare platform connecting passengers with drivers through a smartphone app.
The service revolutionized transportation and spawned imitators across industries, making Uber synonymous with app-based on-demand services: I'll Uber there, the Uber of lawn care.
As a verb, to Uber somewhere means to travel by rideshare: We Ubered to the airport. (Lowercase uber is a slang intensifier meaning extreme.)
